A complete contrast to Dijon this is a nice safe modern circuit and not quite as heart stopping as Dijon. However, it is quite technical with a good variety of corners and good facilities.
The circuits has been home to the French grand prix for the last 15 years since 1991.
The gravel traps are HUGE, but being a F1 circuit a lot of the run-off areas are just painted tarmac allowing greater 'room' for error!
Closest Fuel Station
Available onsite from lunch time. If it’s closed there is a petrol station just outside the circuit gates.
Accommodation in the Area
The Holiday Inn right next to the circuit. Lovely hotel but if in a group book a table in the restaurant early they are the least organised of any restaurant we've ever been to.
Le Pont Neuf, just 10 minutes from the circuit and directly in between Magny Cours and Lurcy Levis. Friendly hotel with good restaurant, bar, pool, tennis court etc strongly recommended.
