Bilster Berg Drive Resort | Monday 29 May 2017
After our fantastic first visit to the wonderful Bilster Berg in the summer, we’re returning with a date that will hopefully allow people to take a long weekend in the surrounding area followed by a blat back home on the Monday night. Track will open at 8am and we wont stop for lunch so longer than normal track day ensuring drivers make the most of the day.
Modelled on the likes of the Ascari Resort in Spain, the entire circuit has been designed from scratch by Hermann Tilke, the industry’s most experienced circuit architect. He is best known for renowned F1 circuits such as Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Malaysia, Istanbul, Shanghai and has now turned his hand to creating a New Nürburgring, “The natural ‘Nordschleife flair’ with high safety standards will continue to enthuse every driver. With various ideal lines, the corners allow for approximately identical lap times, while nature itself dictates the unmistakable signature of the test track.”
It is not only the very special scenic-park- like ambience which makes the Bilster Berg Drive Resort so unique. Especially the 4.2 kilometres long track is presumed as a highlight among Europe’s race tracks by racing pros.
19 bends, 44 crests and dips, more than 200 metres change in altitude per turn and a decline up to 26% are a permanent challenge to cars and drivers.
4.2 km circuit, 44 crests and dips, 19 corners, 26% drop, 21% incline
Our 2016 date was such a success we’re sure to sell this out, especially as limiting the number of cars to ensure no noise issues.
