Zolder | Tuesday 18 September 2018
Zolder maybe in the shadow of its more illustrious counterpart at Spa-Francorchamps but nevertheless Belgium’s first purpose-built circuit is great in its own right. With plenty of history and some fantastic corners it really is a circuit that’s worth visiting.

The circuit has a procedure where all cars are fitted with a transponder so that any car that breaks the noise limit can be identified. If you break the noise limit you are shown a printout and told what your reading was. If you break it a 2nd time, day is over. Over the last 10 events at Zolder weve had 95% of cars running into the afternoon. Cars should have cats fitted (this helps to lower noise), this is a legal requirement and you should check your exhaust is working properly.
